2001 Awarded Art Works from San Diego Chinese Art Society

San Diego, October 8, 2001: Taiwanese American Community Center has invited the San Diego Chinese Art Society to exhibit their awarded art pieces from October 15th to November 4th in TACC's gallery and Auditorium.
Artists and musicians who appreciate Chinese arts established the San Diego Chinese Art Society in May 1991. The San Diego Chinese Art Society annually sponsors various art activities, include art seminars, educational field trips, art exhibitions, music concerts, and so on. The Art Society also participates in art events and festivals sponsored by other local organizations.

The Taiwanese American Foundation was founded in 1996 with the dedication and commitment of the Taiwanese American community in San Diego. The Foundation was incorporated in the State of California as a nonprofit, public, and charitable organiztion. The mission of the Foundation is to strengthen and enhance Taiwanese American individual and family life in San Diego. The Taiwanese American Community Center is an oeprational unit of the Foundation to provide variety of programs and services to Taiwanese Americans in San Diego.
