Melody of Taiwan -- Traditional Taiwanese Opera

San Diego, October 8, 2001: Taiwanese American Community Center has invited the North America Taiwanese Women Association to perform the "Melody of Taiwan -- Traditional Taiwanese Opera" at 7:30pm on October 20, 2001.

The North American Taiwanese Women's Association (NATWA) was founded in March 1988 by a group of Taiwanese women in Los Angeles. From the very beginning, NATWA's leadership has been amazingly strong. Over the past ten years, NATWA has grown more than ten-fold, making it the fastest growing Taiwanese group in North America. NATWA's missions include developing potentials in women and promoting Taiwanese culture in the American society.
