Gallery – Painting

Taiwanese American Community Center (TACC) is going to hold an exhibition of painting works by Danny Chang, from July 18 th through August 22 nd . The opening reception is scheduled at 3 PM on July 18 th , Sunday, 2004. Everyone is welcome to attend. Free admission and open to the public.

Artist, Danny Chang, was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1973. His family moved to the United States when he was 13. Ever since he was little, he always enjoys drawing, from comic books to paintings today. He paints with acrylic colors in the style of 19 th century Impressionist artists. Although Danny has never received any formal training in art, and perhaps because of the lack of formal training, his paintings are easily approachable and accepted. Danny has lived in San Diego for over a year, and hopes to paint local scenery in his next series of work.
