Movie Night - Hero

Taiwanese American Community Center (TACC) is going to hold a Movies Night on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 7:00pm. We will show the movie “Hero” at the auditorium of TACC . “Hero” is in Mandarin with English caption and directed by Yuen Fui Corey with a cast of Kanishiro Takeshi and Yuen Biao. Free admissions and open to the public.

Takeshi Kaneshiro plays Ma Wing Jing, a country boy who escapes with his brother to Shanghai, a city owned by the British and run by two rival powers: the honorable Yuen Biao and the evil Yuen Tak. Gifted with incredible fighting skills and great pride, Ma Wing Jing plans on taking part of Shanghai for himself, and that he does. But his success is threatened due to the influence of wicked club girl Valerie Chow...
