The 9 ^th International Youth Culture Tour to Taiwan

General Information:

This Youth Culture Tour to Taiwan in December 2007 will be the ninth tour sponsored by the Tsunah Foundation. The total tour in Taiwan is eleven days. This tour program is geared toward young international Taiwanese by providing them an opportunity to learn firsthand about the beautiful island of Taiwan, their parents' homeland, and its people. During the trip, there will be formal lectures, videotapes, and open informal discussions about the history, culture, economy, and politics of Taiwan. This year, the group will visit the beautiful Ilan County scenic sites and stay in the Tsunahˇ¦s dormitory facility there for the first three days. Then, the group will go around the island touring the East Coast, the southern part, and the northern part of Taiwan, visiting sites of historical and cultural interest, and having some fun at the same time.

The previous tour participants were mostly undergraduate and graduate students in the U.S. universities. There were also young professional youths. Participants are usually from 18 to 40 years old.

* Note: You may plan to arrive at Taiwan before December 22 nd, but join the team at Taoyuan International Airport or Tsunahˇ¦s Taipei office on December 22 nd. You may also continue to stay in Taiwan after January 1 st, provided that the arrangements are made ahead of time .
